Teaching

I have taught courses on education, undergraduate and graduate statistics, research methods, introduction to sociology, and gender at two institutions. Before attending graduate school, I taught 8th grade social studies as a NYC Teaching Fellow. In all of my teaching, I challenge students to think analytically and develop new skills. I facilitate this by scaffolding content, respecting student diversity and autonomy, and providing a safe classroom environment.
